Flourish is bursting with bioactive compounds and phytohormones. This seaweed product reduces stress, improves growth and unleashes optimum blooming potential. Seedlings will see excellent germination rates, and established plants will grow faster and healthier with greater yields and vigour.

How It Works

Seaweed extracts are used in plant nutrients and additives, and it's not hard to see why. They offer many benefits, such as improved stress tolerance, greater growth and yield, protection from pathogens, and so on! Pure seaweed extracts are not fertilisers; they are naturally low in NPK and trace elements. It is, in fact, the bioactive compounds they contain which make the difference. These include:

Phytohormones - These hormones coordinate cellular activities, leading to improved growth characteristics such as increased root and shoot growth, flower numbers, fruit and bud set, increased chlorophyll content, and yield increase. Cytokinins, auxins, and gibberellins are major phytohormone components in seaweed extracts.

Polysaccharides - These compounds enhance plant resistance to various stressors, including biotic factors like disease and pests. Alginic acid is a polysaccharide found in seaweed and can induce changes in gene regulation with critical implications for defence mechanisms. Other polysaccharides found in seaweed include fucoidan, laminarin, and mannitol.

Betaines - These modified amino acids help protect the plant against environmental stresses such as salinity, drought, heat and cold.

These bio-compounds are noticeably higher in Flourish than other seaweed products. This is thanks to Ecothrive's unique processing technique, which results in a unique and ultra-purified extract.

Ecothrive's innovative approach to extraction involves maintaining high pressure and low temperature during extraction, effectively squeezing the goodness out of the seaweed biomass. This results in a rich, wide-spectrum extract packed with bioactive compounds and phytohormones, achieved without chemicals! Afterwards, they remove any remaining solids from the extract using advanced filtration, meaning nothing can disrupt and block irrigation systems or spoil in your tanks or on your plant's leaves. They have successfully created the industry's most stable and fully soluble seaweed extract with a perfectly balanced pH. It can be added to your nutrient mixes or water without worrying about compatibility issues. Whether for hydro systems, foliar applications, coco coir or organic soil, Flourish is the ultimate natural plant biostimulant and stress reliever.

How To Use Ecothrive Flourish

Unlike other seaweed extracts, Flourish is versatile and adaptable to all forms of growing, from organic hand-watering to active hydroponics. It is always fully soluble and will not drop out or block your irrigation system, allowing you to use it in the way that best suits your plants and your preferred growing method.

Flourish can be used as either a root or foliar feed. Use 0.25-0.5ml per litre as a root feed with every watering session and cease use around two weeks before harvest. This works great as a seed or plugs soak during propagation, dramatically helps with transplant shock when repotting, and will generally improve your results with continued use. As a foliar spray, use 10ml per litre every 10-14 days to improve propagation and vegetative results and stop once flowers form.

For best results, we strongly recommend using Flourish with Ecothrive Neutralise. This ensures that the chlorine in tap water, which can potentially kill bioactive compounds, is neutralised. This additional step will further enhance the effectiveness of Flourish, giving you peace of mind and the best possible results for your plants.
